Cutting-edge immersive technology surrounds the superhuman choreography in this contemporary ode to change. "UniVerse: A Dark Crystal Odyssey" is a moving and surprising meditation on the climate crisis. Inspired by Jim Henson's cult classic ("The Dark Crystal") about a sick planet and a divided race, "UniVerse" portrays a land bounded by extremes that urgently needs healing. Breathtaking digital landscapes and state-of-the-art costumes create a stunning fusion of fantasy and documentary, and the choreography, in dialogue with spoken word, powerfully evokes the inseparability of humanity and nature. Performed by the extraordinary dancers of the Wayne McGregor Company, this is a modern ecological myth that questions how we can come together to be whole again.
