Musician, singer, composer and lyricist, Miguel Araújo is considered to be one of the most brilliant minds in the Portuguese pop-rock music scene. He is the author of some of Portugal’s biggest hits from the early 21st century, such as “Anda Comigo Ver os Aviões”, “Os Maridos das Outras”, “Quem és tu Miúda”, among many others. In addition to his solo repertoire and the band Os Azeitonas, which he founded, he has written songs for some of Portugal’s best-known singers. In January 2021 he released his new album, “Peixe Azul”, where, in addition to the vocals he played all the instruments. For the Gualterianas festivities, Miguel Araújo has prepared a very special concert, featuring his songs backed by the Orchestra of Guimarães.
